How CPU cores are allocated

The main game thread runs on its own logical core, and that core's SMT sibling is left idle, so nothing competes with the game for the physical core. Helper threads (networking and background tasks) may run on virtual cores.

dedicated

Every server thread gets its own dedicated logical core, and the SMT siblings of those cores stay idle. The cores come from the processor's first or second CCD depending on the server's load.

No overselling

We guarantee stable game server performance, and it rests on one simple rule: we never sell more capacity than a machine has, and we never let servers take CPU time from one another. That is why our top plans may cost more than on oversold hosts, but the capacity you pay for always stays yours. The difference shows in practice: FPS stays steady under load.
